As an explorer and visionary, Carie is passionate about assisting other daring, courageous beings as they journey to discover their greatness. Throughout her 30-year career, she has facilitated thousands of sessions with individuals and couples of all ages and walks of life who share a desire to deepen their connection with their soul and the universe. She is passionate about working with clients who desire to reframe their healing work as soul work, a lifelong journey of becoming and evolving. She specializes in bridging the emotional, physical, energetic, and spiritual realms and bodies and supports creative expansion beyond family and cultural conditioning.
Carie graduated from Seattle University in 2000 with a Master’s in Humanistic Existential Psychology. Her undergraduate degree is also in Psychology, with a Minor in Human and Family Development, from the University of Montana, where she graduated with Dean's List distinction. After graduate school, she continued her education at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, where she studied Intuitive Development Through Shamanism for three years and journeyed through several Initiations. She continued mentoring with Shamanic Practitioners for several years, while also pursuing her training as a Somatic Therapist and, most recently, as a Brainspotting Practitioner. Carie is a lifelong student and continues to expand her expertise, particularly in neuroscience and intuitive development.
Carie has extensive education and life training in a variety of modalities and techniques. These include North Node Astrology which reveals the soul’s main core intent and destination, the Hero/Heroine’s Journey as expressed through the Tarot, Journey Work where she blends Somatic Experiencing and her Shamanic Training to support connecting with one’s higher self/soul/the universe/spiritual realm, Brainspotting, energetic empowerment exercises, numerology, and inner child work; areas where the soul is still healing and learning. Her approach is grounded and holistic, meeting modern-day needs, while creatively blending modalities. As a teacher and healer, she brings her dynamic attention and presence, along with her intuitive gifts, to sessions and workshops.
Sensitive to the sacredness of the healing journey, Carie gently supports a shift from survival pressure to creative pressure, illuminating her client’s gifts, natural strengths, and powerful healing capacity. She has witnessed numerous individuals improve their overall health, increase their vitality, embody a new sense of empowerment, become aligned with life and synchronicity, and create an entirely new way of living.
